Ashley furniture is a chain of furniture and bedding stores located in the United States.  This store has received a lot of complaints from customers over the years because of poor quality of service.  Here is a review of Ashley Furniture.

There have been many horror stories that have been collected from dissatisfied customers regarding their buying experience with Ashley Furniture.  Kirsten from North Carolina had one such experience.  She tried to order some furniture online.  A sales rep began to help her but in the middle of the transaction the rep said he would need to call her back because of a computer glitch.  Needless to say, the rep never bothered to call back.  She tried to call again to talk to a manager who told her that the rep she was talking with hung up on purpose so he could process a sale from another customer in the showroom.  The manager took the order and promised she would get a receipt via mail.  The customer never got any.

Joe from Charleston had to wait two full weeks in order for their furniture order to come in for pick up.  When they got to the store the box where the furniture was enclosed in was damaged.  The store did not allow them to look at the contents so when they got home they discovered that the table they bought was totally smashed.  The customer tried to call customer service to complain but instead of a quick solution the rep said that someone would return their call in seventy two hours! Imagine waiting for two weeks only to discover that the item you bought was damaged and they had the nerve to let the customer wait a few more days to get feedback.  You would think that that was the worst that Ashley Furniture could have done but the worst was yet to come.  When the call finally came all they were able to say to the customer is that another department would be handling the complaint and guess what? Expect another call in twenty four hours.

Another customer who bought an eight piece table and chair set from Ashley Furniture complained that in just one month of using the furniture, they noticed that all of the eight chairs were sinking in the middle.  They found out that there was no support at the base for the weight of the person sitting.  It was a classic example of substandard construction.  Ashley furniture never even bothered to pick up all 8 chairs because they said that pick up was never part of the warranty.
